European German Shepherd Breeders
If you are looking for a European German Shepherd Breeder you have come to the right place.
We know how hard it is to find a quality breeder as most websites list any breeder regardless of quality.
Here you will only find breeders that actually breed for one reason and that is to improve the German Shepherd. The breeders listed on this site do extensive health checks such as Hip and Elbow certifications, breed titled dogs and offer a health guarantee. All breeders listed on this website breed either European Working Line or European Conformation Line Shepherds.  Keep in mind that even though they are called conformation or showline German Shepherds they still have to get working titles in order to be breed worthy.
You can be sure that you will not find any backyard German Shepherd breeders on this site.
The breeders are listed by state.  Please keep in mind that most breeders will ship to your nearest Major Airport.

The Truth

  • The American / Canadian shepherds are not required to pass any temperament test, or to do Schutzhund, to undergo the endurance test, to acquire a breed survey or any other requirement. They are not even required to be free of dysplasia. No one controls the quality of the animals being bred. These animals retain a potential for protective behavior and responses, but without the courage, stability and clear headedness to temper their actions. They are often fear-biters, nervous and stressed, showing inappropriate aggressive tendencies. They lack the courage for true protection work, their aggressive behavior being a result of defensiveness and fear for themselves and not an instinct to protect their master. This can be confusing to a novice, but the end result is very different; you cannot count on this type of dog to protect and defend you in a threatening situation.

  • Most backyard breeders advertise in the local paper they may even have websites.  There advertisements always sound the same-European Champion Lines-German Police Lines-Champion Pedigree-Oversize German Lines..... Now, when you ask them about the sire and dam hip certification they may just tell you that they just submitted them (after breeding the dog) or that their dogs run and jump all day so they don't have bad hips.  RED FLAG!!!  If you are a novice it is easy to fall for a backyard breeder and that is why we have decided to develop a site where you will find ONLY THE BEST!
  • FACT: You may pay a little more for a high quality German Shepherd but you will be thankful in the long run.  You will not have to deal with temperament issues or health issues.  Keep in mind...things can happen even with the best breeders.  The difference is that German Shepherd Breeders listed on this site will stand behind their puppies no matter what.  You will become part of the family and the German Shepherd Breeders listed on this site want to stay in touch with you.
